One system for the whole center
Tutoring centers often stitch together separate tools: a spreadsheet for rosters and tuition, personal messaging for parents, cloud storage for materials, a separate testing tool. Data ends up scattered, so someone reconciles it by hand at month's end. CLASSQR pulls all of it into one center: enrollment → class assignment → teaching → testing → attendance → tuition → parent reports, each role with its own area, data entered once and flowing through the whole chain.
A public page on your own domain, a list of open classes, and an online sign-up form feeding your follow-up pipeline.
Multiple teachers, assistants, registrars, and cashiers with clear permissions; student profiles, follow-up tags, appointments.
A shared curriculum, question bank, AI-generated tests, cross-class exam sessions.
Tuition, a cash ledger, aging balances; weekly reports with invoices emailed to parents.
Organizing the center: members, roles, permissions
The center's Settings page has seven tabs. The first three decide "who does what":
- General: name, path (
path.classqr.com), short name (the prefix for student IDs), logo, address, phone, email. - Members: invite by email, assign a role — Manager · Teacher · Registrar · Cashier — and revoke access when someone leaves. A person invited to teach one class without belonging to the center only has permissions in that class.
- Roles & permissions: a module × action grid (view, add, edit, delete) for each role. For example, a Registrar can view tuition but not record payments; a Cashier can't edit class content.
- Grade levels & subjects: each member declares the subjects and grades they teach so bank filters and AI suggestions stay accurate.
The Reports menu is the owner's dashboard: active students, running classes, sessions checked in, active users, AI test generations, tuition collected, outstanding balances, pending invoices, the enrollment pipeline (new → contacted → enrolled → churned), messages sent, delivery failures, and messaging cost, with day-by-day charts and a Needs Attention section.
Enrollment: your page, open classes, sign-ups
Every center gets an enrollment page at path.classqr.com, built from blocks in the Enrollment Page tab: a cover image, highlights, stats, teacher bios, parent testimonials, tuition, a photo gallery, a roadmap, FAQ, video, a map, and a sign-up form. Choose the font, accent color, and corner radius; preview it live in the builder; nothing changes until you click Save. Sub-pages for About, Contact, Terms, Privacy come with templates, and the privacy policy builds itself around the features the center has turned on.
- Open classes (Standard, Pro): turn on Show as open for enrollment on a class, and the
/classespage lists it with its schedule, tuition, and teacher; parents submit a sign-up form (parent name, phone, student name, notes) right there. - Leads land in a follow-up pipeline: the Students menu has a leads list with a status of New · Contacted · Enrolled · Churned; one click converts a lead into an enrolled student in a class.
- Follow-up tags, notes, and appointments: a center defines its own set of statuses (name, color, days to act on), each student sits in exactly one; every status change logs who and when, feeding a pipeline report. Registrars leave notes and schedule callback appointments right on the profile, viewable by day, week, or month.
- SEO for the enrollment page: title, description, EducationalOrganization structured data, and its own sitemap on the center's domain. The page is submitted to Google once the center is on a paid plan or has active students.
Reaching parents by email
The Parent Messaging Channels tab picks how weekly reports, session reports, tuition reminders, and receipts are delivered:
| Channel | Plan | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Every plan | Sent from the platform's shared mailbox, or the center's own SMTP mailbox if configured; also delivered as an in-app notification to the student account. |
Your own brand: custom domain and white-label
The Pro plan lets you use your own domain, e.g. learn.yourcenter.com: the Custom Domain tab shows two DNS records to add at your domain registrar (a CNAME and a verification TXT record); click Verify to activate, and an HTTPS certificate is issued automatically. On a custom domain, CLASSQR's name and logo are hidden from the enrollment page, sign-in, sign-up, and the student area; Google sign-in uses the center's own Client ID. Students only sign in at the center's own address and never see other centers.
Choosing the right plan
Three plans, priced by active student count (enrolled in an active class; a withdrawal or a closed class reduces the count immediately):
| Free plan | Standard plan | Pro plan | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0 | ≤100 students: $29.00/month ≤250 students: $49.00/month ≤600 students: $129.00/month | Same Standard tier + $19.00/month |
| Annual billing | — | 12 months, billed for 10 | |
| Students · classes · users | 30 · 3 · 2 | By tier · unlimited · unlimited | By tier · unlimited · unlimited |
| Lessons, question bank, tests, exam sessions, QR attendance, weekly reports | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| AI credits granted every month (test generation, grading) | One trial credit | ✓ | ✓ more |
| Automatic tuition reminders | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Open classes, online sign-up | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Custom domain, hidden branding, priority support | — | — | ✓ |
New centers get a 14-day free trial of Pro. When it ends, the center drops to Free with all data intact. Buy or renew in the Plan tab: choose plan, tier, and period, pay, and it activates immediately with a receipt by email. Upgrading mid-period only charges the prorated difference for the days remaining. Monthly credit grants and add-on credit pack prices show in the same tab. Pricing is kept current on the homepage; multiple locations should contact us for custom pricing.
Data and legal
- The center controls the data, CLASSQR processes it under the Terms for Education Centers; data is never sold or used for advertising, and incidents are disclosed within 72 hours.
- Transparent with parents: a clear student roster, session schedule, and tuition record, exportable to Excel whenever needed.
- The center's content belongs to the center: curriculum and tests you write are never made public or resold (content ownership policy).
- Deleting a center: data is removed from the active system within 30 days; an export can be requested before then.
A suggested rollout for a center switching to CLASSQR
| Week | Task | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Create the center, invite teachers, import students from Excel, set the schedule, set up tuition | QR attendance and quick grading run from the very first session |
| 2 | Add parent emails, send the first weekly report | Parents receive reports with the remaining balance |
| 3 | Upload the curriculum, generate tests with AI, run the first exam session | Strengths and weaknesses by topic start showing up in the weekly report |
| 4 | Build the enrollment page, turn on open classes, set up a custom domain (Pro) | Online enrollment, leads flowing into the follow-up pipeline |

Frequently asked questions
How should a center with several locations organize itself?
Each location is its own center with its own address, teachers, and students; the account owner manages several centers from the My Centers page. Build a curriculum once and import it into classes at each location. Contact us for custom pricing on multiple locations.
Can a teacher see students from another class?
No, unless they're assigned the Manager role. A teacher only sees classes they teach or were invited to. Fine-tune each role's permissions in the Roles & permissions tab.
Do parents need an app to get messages?
No. Messages go by email; a report opens through its own link in a browser.
Does a custom domain hide CLASSQR branding entirely?
Yes. On a custom domain, the enrollment page, sign-in page, and student area show no CLASSQR name or logo. The privacy policy still names the data processor, since parents have a right to know.
Is a center's data used for anything else?
No. Each center is its own private space; CLASSQR doesn't sell data, doesn't use it for advertising, and content sent to AI providers never includes a student's full name, phone number, or photo.
